Jack Friedman Jewellers has been at the forefront of the diamond and jewellery industry in South Africa for over 75 years.

Three generations have taken passion and precision to the level of “Creating Memories” which is also the motto of Jack Friedman. The key to our success is a combination of knowledge and design innovation. Jack Friedman arrived in South Africa from Latvia in 1928 at the tender age of 20, penniless and armed only with jewellery and watch making skills he learned from his father. He built one of the most reputable companies in South Africa, establishing his first store in 1933 in old Johannesburg.

Jack was blessed to have his daughter Lorna, take over the business. The family link remains with her son, Howard, who leads the design team to ensure that the highest possible standards of craftsmanship and quality are maintained.
